Life is the only game you have no choice whether to play. Casino.$k starts with casinos, gambling and poker players, then expands its focus to the outside world – the game as a lifelong sensibility, something you’re born with. In a casino, games are synonymous with leisure and amusement, but they also hold a certain sense of risk. The world beyond the casino’s walls, the outside world, including politics, is a world of even bigger games. Politics influence people’s lives, gamble with them, and unlike the world of poker, its players don’t always play fair – after all, there are no clear rules to the game. And sometimes what starts as a game escalates into war. (Art Film Fest)
