Eugenia Vasilyevna is not a typical grandmother. At 55 years of age, she is lively and energetic, and her weekly dancing lessons provide a welcome distraction from her partner, who is very ill at home. It is at one of these classes that she meets a man with whom she starts a brief affair, however, she decides to end it fearing that if her partner were to discover her indiscretion, his health might deteriorate further. Dasha is a college student and like her grandmother, also has a long string of admirers. Dasha, however, is much more discerning. While Eugenia feels it is time for her granddaughter to get married, Dasha would like to travel the world and experience life. Meanwhile, it is Dasha's mother Veronika who really needs a husband, and while Eugenia and Dasha devise a plan to find her a suitable man, Veronika starts an affair with a client...
