Lost Child

Fern, an Army veteran, returns home to the Ozarks to find an abandoned young boy in the woods. As any compassionate person would do, she takes the boy in as her own to ensure his safety and wellbeing. Gradually, the boy’s behavior grows more and more suspect, especially in light of the local legend of the Tatterdemalion. Nonetheless, Cecil isn’t your average boy - his secrecy and instinctive knowledge seems years beyond his age, and it is beginning to drive Fern mad... (Sarasota Film Festival)
