anglais Lately, there seems to be quite a deluge of European dramas dealing with the refugee crisis. Tazzeka doesn’t have this issue as its priority, but we also meet with refugees in the second half of the film. But it’s a nice story, with likeable people and beautiful Moroccan environment. It almost seems more like some Spanish mountains than North Africa. The landscapes were a delight to watch, together with the food Elias made in the film. I was also intrigued that most of the time the characters were speaking French. Too bad that the story is filmed in such an unremarkable, bland way, without any suspense. But it was quite a nice trip to Morocco. ()

anglais It has a weak story, not much character development, and there's no significant point. The film relies on the picturesque setting of the Moroccan countryside and the depiction of the exotic and colorful multicultural Paris. It's a film that definitely won't offend but won't impress either. Overall impression: 50%. ()
