Florence Carala et son amant, Julien Tavernier, directeur des affaires de son mari Simon, ont décidé de tuer ce dernier et de simuler un suicide. Voulant effacer un indice compromettant, Julien se retrouve bloqué dans l'ascenseur. Entre-temps Louis a volé la voiture de Julien pour épater sa petite amie, mais dans sa virée il tue deux allemands. (Gaumont)

Excellent noir film that has something extra, something from Hitchcock and darker detective films, where we already know who the killer is from the beginning, but we only watch how his life can go downhill, and all of this in a beautiful black and white with great acting performances from all the cast members, including the supporting roles.
