Tijuana Jackson: Purpose Over Prison

Writer/Director Romany Malco Jr. stars as “Tijuana Jackson” in this wickedly raw comedy that deftly navigates between moments of frenetic laughter and gut punches of genuine pain. Jackson, “an aspiring world-renowned motivational speaker,” is being followed by a documentary film crew due to his impending release from prison. With his sidekick Lil’ Eric, played by Central Florida local Alkoya Brunson, the ex-con’s reality-show dreams are set on a collision course with his court-mandated probation.
