The Barragán House. A Universal Value

A walk through into the house of one of Jalisco’s most important architect, Luis Barragán. The style and narrative of this documentary are akin to rhe artist’s aestetics: shapes, colours, and silences are the best portrayal of him and his works. A key character of contemporary architecture, his works integrate mexican elements mixing tradition and modernity, which are basic principles of his architecture. An must-see house of the twentieth century, the has been included in UNESCO’s List of World Heritage. The aim of this documentary is to show, in and out of Mexico, the universal legacy of Barragán.
