anglais It's not an advertised “cold revelation of the principles of corruption", it's way too genre movie to do so. It is a beating “meeting room" thriller about a political and human fall from heights, thrashing arms, changing coats and that when there is nothing to lose, even the game will become dangerous to its hunter. I was expecting it to be more cold-hearted, much more depersonalized, and focused on a purely behind-the-scenes games of politicians free from seeing own image in the mirror. But it works even in this form. What is truly unfortunate is the final twenty minutes (bunch of papers in the house and night highway), when it unjustifiably turns into a thriller of a completely different kind. And the fact that the mentioned passages are perfectly filmed does not change anything. ()
