Ulysses is the daily battle of a fisherman going out into the ocean to try to appease his hunger. Like the waves themselves, it represents the struggle of the water as it collides endlessly with the earth, a struggle that changes at times based on tides. A struggle that should ideally end with the parity of forces between the land and the sea. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
