Growing Vegi: Valley Educational Gardens Initiative

Located in the rural and economically-challenged San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, the Valley Educational Gardens Initiative has blossomed into a multifaceted program over the past 20 years. VEGI works with schools and community programs to address the root causes of hunger and food insecurity by cultivating a relationship with nourishing foods from the soil up.
