Tod in der Brauerei (S02E05)

I sometimes watch Der Bulle von Tölz, why not. He’s fun and that might be the main reason why I like watching some of the episodes. But this is the first episode I decided to write a review on. Mainly because already in 1997 the Germans knew what the state of the brewing industry was. And the things that were happening there are actually the same as the things that are going on in our country when it comes to large industrial breweries. But small breweries keep fighting and I hope they will hold as long as possible. Der Bulle also fought, and in the end everything was well. I think I’ll have to visit Bad Tölz because of him and try the local beer. There’s no escaping that. A proper Bavarian town, a great premise – a must for any beer lover. And mainly the scenes that make the show what it is. Especially, those involving his mother, who keeps surprising me every episode. I don’t see a reason why such films should get criticized so harshly around here. I had to add an extra star for the story. (24/01/2014)
