In this film, Żmijewski – literally – strips patterns of behaviour and rituals. We see soldiers present arms and march: the first time clothed, the second time naked. If soldiers in uniform symbolise the state, will they rediscover their identity and autonomy if they shed their clothing? (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
