How to deal with a painful past? During an art history seminar, young anthropologists discuss an 18th-century painting that presents anti-Semitic ideas. The students relate to the artwork in words and deeds, and with visible emotion. A replica of the painting comes to a painful end. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
