Mauricio Fernández is the polemical mayor of San Pedro Garza García, the wealthiest and safest municipality in Latin America. He presents himself as an active leader who is capable of keeping his municipality “free” of the drug cartels’ presence, without questioning the methods he uses to achieve this.
