The American Tapes: Tales of Immigration

Most people think of immigration as a finite moment; but as a story it really spans several generations and two nations. The American Tapes reflects two time frames: four Mexican families just beginning their stay in California as undocumented immigrants in the early 1980s and today, portraying their life and times in the United States and Mexico.
