Over the past two weeks, two-year-old big brother Rowan was united with his new sister and brothers to form the Hodges Half Dozen. The quintuplets Teagan, Connell, Liam, Nolan and Dillon (in birth order) finally joined their mom, Liz, dad, Daniel, and brother at home in Temple, Texas. The quints arrived three months early on March 24, 2017 and have spent the last few months at Ascension’s Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, Texas in the neonatal intensive care unit growing and learning to eat on their own. As of Sunday, July 23, 2017 the entire family of eight was happily at home and starting their exciting new life together.
Hodges Half Dozen follows this small-town Texan family as they become super-sized overnight -- covering Liz's challenging pregnancy, their NICU journey, and how they'll adjust to life as a family of eight. Liz and Daniel used fertility drugs to conceive Rowan and tried using the same drugs for a second baby, but instead got five! Liz thinks boys are the most fun and she’s now mother to five boys and one little girl, Teagan. Daniel, a former Marine, is enrolled in medical school so it will be a struggle for the family to stay on budget. Viewers will also meet Liz and Daniel’s extended family who are there to support them every step of the way. (Discovery Networks)
