Hindu Kush - once a popular destination for climbers of Czechoslovakia. Then it was forgotten for several decades. Only in recent years Czech climbers are beginning to return there. What attracts them is the highest peak of Afghanistan and the second highest peak of the Hindu Kush range Noshaq at 7492 m. Despite the fact there is a civil war in Afghanistan, Taliban and Islamic State has settled there and women are worthless, the so called Wakhan corridor where Noshaq is located, is still relatively safe. This peak lured also two Czech climbers Zdenek Hodinar and Marketa Hanáková, a world record holder for a person with a pacemaker to high altitudes. Afghan rejection is a documentary which describes an attempt of the Czech climber to break the world record for persons with a pacemaker to high altitudes. The documentary was shot on Noshaq (7492 m), the highest mountain in Afghanistan. (Mezinárodní festival outdoorových filmů)
