anglais I wouldn’t say I liked the beginning very much, but then it only got better until the excellent last half hour, which reminds me a bit of Walter Mitty's adventurous journey. Until then, the narrative style was a bit evocative of Woody Allen's work. In the end, however, this is another unconventional film in its own way, and you can feel Richard Linklater all over it. On a side note, I have sympathy for the protagonist (played brilliantly by Cate Blanchett) shunning people, as I am also rather reclusive by nature. (80%) ()
