Nothing Happens

Nothing Happens is a dismal film in which the authors skilfully play with the spectators’ expectations. A group of people meet behind a city and wait for a “spectacle” that is about to happen on the horizon. The weather is cold and unwelcoming and the suspense is becoming palpable… but nothing is happening. The film explores spectatorship – what it’s like to watch and what it’s like being watched.
