15-year-old Stella knows that she's not like the other girls in grade ten: she's scrawny, boobless and bespectacled, and teased mercilessly for it—mainly by Emma, the class bully whose popularity is outweighed only by her massive jugs. When Stella discovers during a sex-ed class that she's the only girl in her grade who hasn't gotten her period, it's the last straw. With the help of her friends, Martin (Stella's semi-closeted best friend) and Gabby (the token Chinese kid), Stella attempts to fit in by fast tracking her way to womanhood.
