Closet Doors explores the other half of the coming out conversation, the one that we never get to hear. For parents, that conversation ends with suddenly having to reshape your ideas, plans, and relationship with your child. Through a series of interviews, this documentary fixes its lens on the mothers, fathers, grandparents, and guardians of LGBT individuals who have come out of the closet. In this vignette - Reva Sternbach shows us the true meaning of unconditional love. She lets us in on her perspective when her son Jerry came out of the closet at 15 years old. Her concerns during the AIDS epidemic, her matter of fact perspective on marriage equality and why her 'bra will snap from chest expansions'. (Outfest Los Angeles)
