Gopi is a 12-year-old boy living in a village near the India-Nepal border. The villagers are steeped in superstitions. His father is a black magic expert and wants Gopi to follow in his footsteps. But Gopi's grandfather is stresses the importance of the scientific and practical approach. Gopi's thoughts lean toward his grandfather's logical outlook. The war between science and superstition is shown through Gopi's dealings with his father and friends. But when one of Gopi's loved ones bears the brunt of superstitious faith, Gopi's logical reasoning and scientific approach are put to the test. (Zlín Film Festival)
