Law of the Land

In the snow-covered Lapland region of Finland near the Swedish border, Lasse (Ville Virtanen), a police officer on the cusp of retirement, must try to keep the peace in the village after a recently paroled convict ignites a violent feud with his son. As tensions continue to mount, it becomes clear that Lasse will need to address some long-buried secrets from his past if he is to prevent further bloodshed. (Mill Valley Film Festival)
