Zsolnay Vera takes a liking to the handsome Kerekes István in the swimming pool. She does not know his name and she only discovers later that the young man has troubles making ends meet. She has his suit stolen and sends her a new one. However, due to a misunderstanding, the package arrives at the address of the shallow office clerk, Tatár István. In the meantime, Vera arranges a position for Kerekes at her girlfriend, Panni's father's firm. But even this goodwill falls upon Tatár, while Panni's parents believe this to be their daughter's choice. Kerekes, however, with the help of Cicvarek, gets himself a job at the Zsolnay company.
