The Ballad of Simon and Teresa

At the end of the Great War, Tereza is eagerly expecting Šimon's return in prayers – him being the younger of the two brothers. The elder one, Matej, has lost his hope and tries to convince Tereza to become his wife. Tereza is silent while Šimon returns, the war has left its trace on him more mentally than physically.
