Newspaper reporter Ben, still haunted by the death of his colleague, now has to contend with his replacement - ambitious and inexperienced Nora, as they work for exclusive stories behind the battle lines of the Al Qaeda and Taliban-backed Islamic Movement in the former Soviet state of Uzbekistan.
