The Outsider

Naomi Watts stars as Rebecca Yoder, a religious widow whose husband has been murdered by an evil band of cattle ranchers. When wounded gunslinger Johnny Gault (Tim Daly) rolls into town, Rebecca forges an unexpected relationship with the cynical stranger as she nurses him back to health. But as her feud with the ranchers escalates to boiling point and Johnny moves in to settle the score, Rebecca finds herself forced to choose between her burgeoning love for him and commitment to her pacifist religious beliefs.
