A young and bright-eyed Sandpiper is motivated by her mother to start hunting for food along with the rest of the flock in the sandy seashore. However, the tiny bird is still terrorised by the surfs that break on the ocean's shoreline, unable to take care of herself. Poor little Piper, growing up is difficult, nevertheless, your caring mother believes in you. (HBO Europe)

anglais Piper is a brilliantly made, cute, funny, and fresh short film that perfectly set the mood for the underwater adventure about Dory. However, this also stands on its own. The animation is simply gorgeous, the narrative is great, even though the theme of "overcoming fear" is a bit of a cliché. However, because of the shorter running time, it certainly does not have the chance to get boring. The moment when the little bird watches the wave sweep away the others and then it naturally does not want to go to the beach made me laugh my socks off. So I thought it was very good. 9/10. ()

anglais Technically absolutely perfect. The sand! The bubbles! The animals. This is an incredible demonstration of what is possible to create. But what's more, Pixar has come up with something that not only looks beautiful but is also something you want to watch because it's cute, fun, and has great characters. It's definitely worth going to the movie theater for Finding Dory when you get this as an appetizer. ()
