The candidly drawn graduate film Paradox presents an unusual look at the possible connection of the worlds of humans and plants. The authors try to visualize how it would look if the plants used humans as greedily and unscrupulously as humans use nature. This suggestive film portrays a battle of two different powers and leaves us uncertain as to who will win. (AniFest)
