One day the art student Damla is sitting next to a begger on the street and stays there. The point is to explore art's relationship to the political, but the criticism from their teacher and classmates is harsh. Time Passes is a keen study of how institutions form individuals, and it is also an accurate satire of art school with a strong sense of familiarity. (Göteborg Film Festival)
