(Epicentre Films)

anglais Théo and Hugo is definitely not a film for a mass audience. After a very sexually explicit first twenty minutes, there are almost eighty minutes of interaction between two men who have known each other for only a short time, but both feel that there is something special and indescribable between them. During the conversational part, which at times was almost documentary-like, I found myself somewhat distracted by the tedious conversations with random people (a kebab vendor, a lady on the subway). On the other hand, the hospital sequence and the moments afterwards are for me the best part of the film. Overall, the film is between three and four stars. If it were a little shorter and had more powerful scenes, I would definitely have no hesitation in giving it a higher rating. ()
