I was wondering why this film has such high ratings, but that child's perspective on Christmas, especially a Christmas centered around one specific toy that isn't entirely safe, but mainly focusing on a family that's eccentric but not excessively so, makes it worthwhile. It's entertaining, it doesn't stop, and in the end, it has a funny and Christmas-themed conclusion. ()
