Cree Hunters of Mistassini

This film offered the hunters from the Mistassini area, which is situated in the northern part of Québec, their first chance to see how important it is that authentic life and nature in the area be protected against industrial or other incursions. Cree Hunters of Mistassini gives an intimate and detailed image of a very old culture which rests on ecological principles and subtle religious beliefs.
