São Paulo, Los Angeles and Toronto are known for their problematic transport policies. Dictates from the automotive industry, in many places the most prominent source of financing for the municipal and state coffers, has a fatal impact on the entire urban area, the smooth movement of the population, and their time and health. The documentary examines how for a number of individuals, urban cycling has become a solution and how, together with the increasing number of cyclists, citizens' initiatives are growing worldwide to support them. The film touches on the situation in the cities where bikes have become the dominant means of transport (Berlin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen). This wide-ranging and inspirational film gives space to imaginative commentary and presents various aspects of the fight for safe movement of cyclists in cities with wit, insight and great music.
