Critique de l’utilisateur·trice Necrotongue pour cette série (69)

Réfugiés (2017) (S02E08)

anglais Originally, I rated the eighth episode with four stars, but then I realized that there was actually only one thing that bothered me, so in the end, I added a fifth piece. The story was packed with events, the atmosphere, action, and tension were present, so only one thing caught my attention. Why do all the refugees from Ganymede look like inhabitants of a remote Asian village? I understand that soy was grown there, but still... ()

Le Somnambule en pleurs (2017) (S02E09)

anglais I enjoyed the negotiations between the representatives of the United Nations and the Martians, I also enjoyed the action with "Lunarite" on Ganymede, but I can't shake the feeling that both matters should have their own separate parts. It felt to me as if the creators didn't have enough time and somewhat rushed both storylines. ()

La Cascade (2017) (S02E10)

anglais The situation on Earth is again more interesting thanks to Errinwright, Sergeant Draper amused me like Count of Monte Cristo, and even the events on Ganymede were worth it. The creators could have slightly improved the situation by having the events on Earth unfold at a slightly faster pace, but otherwise, I was satisfied. ()

Ici demeurent les Dragons (2017) (S02E11)

anglais Although there were several storylines running this time, including events on Ganymede and Venus, the most interesting, in my opinion, took place on Earth. It was evident that Bobbi was a tough cookie, while it took others several weeks to acclimate, she was already sprinting like a highly capable earthling. ()

Ecoute ton coeur (2017) (S02E12)

anglais The twelfth episode, therefore, did not impress me twice. The pursuit of the hybrid through the destroyed greenhouse was disgustingly long, the selection of fifty-two passengers was too pathetic for me, so the main thing that saved everything was Errinwright's thriller and the meeting of Avasarala and Mao. Moreover, I have to agree with what rashaverak wrote, the threat of "I have your Corvette and I'm not afraid to use it!" somewhat lacks a strong foundation. ()

La Guerre de Caliban (2017) (S02E13)

anglais The final episode of the second season was quite successful, although it had its flaws. I just have to mention again how tiresome those constant last-minute rescues seem to me. Trying to build tension in this way feels terribly naive to me. Well, but still, I enjoyed it. ()

Season 3 (2018) (S03)

anglais To my delight, Season 3 was even better than the previous season. It seems to me that the creators are improving with each new season, which is not often the case. This season had everything I want in a sci-fi, and I decided to graciously ignore those few minor shortcomings. With the exception of one episode, I actually didn't mind Bobbie who irritated me in the previous season. In the second half of the season, I missed Chrisjen Avasarala. The Razorback did quite a number on her, and the Ring would probably have finished her off anyway:-) I was very satisfied, I really enjoyed the series and I’m secretly hoping the next one will be just as good. ()

Fuir ou se battre (2018) (S03E01)

anglais The start of the third season pleased me very much. Errinwright finally achieved his goal and the war situation really intensified the atmosphere (even in vacuum). The creators managed to build up decent tension again, the situation on both ships was more than interesting, and boredom did not threaten for a moment. ()

Ami ou ennemi (2018) (S03E02)

anglais Originally, I wanted to rate the episode with four stars, but in the end, I added a fifth one for the exhibition with the Belter. The plot was as tense as Mr. Creosote's bowel movements, Chrisjen Avasarala entertained me again in every scene, and this time I managed to overlook Bobbi Draper. ()

Destruction assurée (2018) (S03E03)

anglais I will not lie, I found some issues in the third episode that were not entirely perfect, on top of that Bobbina was dressed so extravagantly that her shoulders barely fit in the fur, but all of that was just insignificant details. What was important was that I enjoyed the plot, the story had internal logic, and it did not lack quality atmosphere and tension. ()

Recharger (2018) (S03E04)

anglais After the fourth episode, a timid hope is emerging in me that I am watching the best season of the series so far. The plot had action, but fortunately, the creators did not forget about the political background that I have enjoyed since the first episode. I have an undeniable feeling that with each episode, the quality is increasing, which is usually the opposite in other series. ()

Triple point (2018) (S03E05)

anglais I don't really like touching stories, and Naomin's sounded a bit fake, as if the screenwriter wanted to instantly return her original halo, but even that didn't convince me to deduct a star. Everything else worked perfectly and I really enjoyed it. ()

Immolation (2018) (S03E06)

anglais I had just praised the creator in my previous comment when I received an even better episode. I would love to get used to something like this with TV shows. This was a really successful episode, which even managed to pretend to be the season finale. Great plot and an even better ending to the episode, it's a shame I can't add a sixth piece. ()

Delta-V (2018) (S03E07)

anglais Yes, so now I'm firmly grounded again, the seventh episode almost disappointed me, there were too many things happening off the radar and the events on Rosinante or Behemoth didn't fill me with enthusiasm. Funny moments involving record holder Monéa and Amos, who refused one proposal after another (actually after the first one), brought it up to four stars for me. ()

Il entre en contact (2018) (S03E08)

anglais With the eighth episode, the creators hit the mark again, and they didn't allow me to be detached from the screen. The atmosphere was great, the tension pleasantly increased, and the plot was packed with events. This is exactly how I imagine a quality sci-fi, and I simply couldn't help but enjoy it. ()

Intransigeance (2018) (S03E09)

anglais The creators have surpassed themselves with the previous installment, so the ninth episode seems somewhat weaker in comparison. Personally, I was not pleased with the excursions into the Mao family's history, which clearly slowed down the plot. On the other hand, I must highlight Amos' contribution - his emergency communication channel was flawless. ()

Nouveau ciel (2018) (S03E10)

anglais The episode must belong to those that should make every sci-fi genre fan giggle with joy (I even almost squealed with excitement myself, and it reminded me of my former championship weight). We all finally gathered around the ring and the show can begin. ()

Inertie (2018) (S03E11)

anglais I deducted one star compared to the previous episode, there was still a certain decrease in pace and tension, but that doesn't mean I was dissatisfied. Not for a moment was I bored, and I really enjoyed the conversation in the Behemoth warehouse, I think a more interesting pair couldn't have been squeezed in there. ()

Congrégation (2018) (S03E12)

anglais Klaes Ashford mostly stole the twelfth episode for himself, from James Holden's interrogation to his cunning plan. For a moment, I considered giving it four stars, as I expected more action and suspense in the penultimate episode of the season, but the eventful plot convinced me to award it a fifth piece. ()

La Porte d'Abaddon (2018) (S03E13)

anglais This time I had nothing to hesitate about in the review, I couldn't even accidentally give it fewer than five stars. The creators really nailed it in the conclusion of the series, the atmosphere was fantastic, the tension built up in a great way, and they truly succeeded in the final resolution. ()
