An Orthodox bishop fights for the rights of gays and lesbians. A crippled man who never obtained justice after police beat him for no reason. A journalist who kicked off the protests at Maidan Square and the Ukrainian revolution with one event on Facebook in autumn 2013. A girl who protects people from the police with her bare hands and gains the admiration and heart of one of the policemen. This collage of eight short films by young filmmakers looks at one difficult year in Ukraine. Sometimes the drama is raw and in your face; other times it can only be comprehended from a distance.
