Romance of the young, who rushed into a relationship too quickly, and it lasted for too long for them. She is a bit crazy, he wants to wander elsewhere, but the whole movie is supposed to make us feel like it wants to say something more in reality. The believably depicted gradual decay of a relationship between two people who know each other like the backs of their hands, love each other, have a significant shared history, and put in considerable effort – and yet it still falls apart. And even though both actors give their all in the roles and I sincerely wished for Mel and Dan to be happy, whether together or apart, the spiteful acts and bad decisions become too much over time. Each action from him and from her is like a venomous blow to the bond, and I wished for the end to come as soon as possible. But not because I wanted to know how it would (not) turn out for them, but so that I could breathe a sigh of relief. (09/06/2021)
