A film revue about Budapest and the dwellers of this wonderful capital. Ica, a slightly plump girl, escorts her friend leaving for her honeymoon to the Ferihegy airport. An arriving aircraft brings the fashion dictator and his beautiful models to Budapest. Miki, arriving on the same plane, would like to hide, because his luggage is full of nylon stockings. But the customs officers catch him instantly. Tibor, the pilot of the plane, and Ica fall in love at first sight. They miss each other several times, but meet finally. During their walk they tour the city, visit the fashion show of the King and they keep on colliding with foreigners enchanted by the beauty of the capital. The finale finds the heroes at Ferihegy again. Everybody is dancing, weeping, falling is love and yearning to come back. (texte officiel du distributeur)
