anglais L'oro di Scampia is an idealistic, activist, and educational film that tries to expose the influence of organized crime on everyday life in Italy. It doesn't settle for depicting how the mafia controls and corrupts public spaces; it calls for civic courage and, using its protagonist as an example, shows that there is always a way to defend one's freedom. In Italian cinema, there are certainly more realistic, entertaining, and impactful films on this subject, but this is a film that could be shown in school performances as part of civic education. Nonetheless, it has its power. Overall impression: 60%. ()
