All around our world there are amazing swarms. In this episode, we see locusts, flamingos and wildebeest in Africa and penguins and seals in Antarctica. We find ant swarms in Brazil, then butterflies, spiny lobsters and reef sharks in Mexico and the Caribbean, and, in the British Isles, swarms of sea birds and bees.
We continue our coverage of amazing swarms, traveling to Canada for snow geese, garter snakes and mosquitoes. In Palau and the South Pacific, we discover swarms of jellyfish and many other species, especially among the coral. In India and the Far East, there are black rats and bats, and in the U.S. we find insects: mayflies, brine flies and lady birds; and finally migrations of red crabs in the Christmas Islands.
