Batalha do Passinho: O Filme, A

In 2008, when a short video of a group of friends dancing at that time popular dance called "funk" at a Brazilian grill party appeared on internet, only few people would guess that this is the dance that will stir entire Brazil at the end. This dance style called "passinho" comes from slums of Rio de Janeiro and it literally defined evolution of Brazilian "funk", popular culture and partially of the society. Emílio Domingos devotes his documentary to the phenomenon of "passinho" that is now not only a dance style but it also represents an important social change. (Kino Brasil)
