Through long and mostly static shots, the film portrays a silent hero who collects shells during the day and at night he prepares tools for employees of a nearby factory. The everyday nature of this unusual character evokes tragedy and comedy – both poles of the human existence. The motion picture's captivating lyricism ensues from beautiful image composition, vacant commentary and strange composure – all typical features of this exceptional documentary. (IFF Bratislava)
