A film about a cyclist who decided to cycle around the world. Jaroslav Král, nicknamed "The Snail" is a prime example of the fact that if you really want something, with a bit of luck it is always possible! Until the age of 15 he could not move very much due to a congenital heart defect. All of this changed thanks to a heart valve surgery. He is not a fast rider or a racer, but he became a cyclist globetrotter. Because of his slow speed he gained the nickname among his friends – the Snail. He regularly takes his bike on several-month trips to various countries throughout Europe, he has cycled from Bohemia to Africa or Turkey and back. He has cycled tens of thousands of kilometers. Cycling became his lifestyle. In the documentary – The Earth Is Round, you will be able to see the paths that Jaroslav Král has been to.
