ATLANTIC is the story of Fettah, a young man living in a village on the Moroccan coast. Every year tourists flock to the town to windsurf and enjoy its gentle way of life. Fettah is one of the locals hired to assist the tourists and tend to their needs. During one particularly memorable summer, he befriends Alexandra (Thekla Reuten), a beautiful European woman. When she returns home, Fettah's village suddenly feels like a prison to him, so he sets off to Europe—on his windsurf.
