anglais This is not the first time the director has surprised me with a war film. The first instalments of Saints and Soldiers wasn’t bad, which can also be said about this film. At the same time, I do not understand at all why it received such bad ratings at this site. I gave it a go on the recommendation of user Big Bear and I really enjoyed it.After finishing it, I have to agree with his review. It doesn’t deserve these five stars completely, but I’m giving them to it anyway to make up for the underserved bad ratings. The best thing is that while you can see that it was made on a tight budget, you can also feel the enthusiasm of its makers who wanted to create something good. The actors are not exactly stellar, but I had no problem with getting used to them during that hour and a half. It looks a bit like a copy of Fury, but on the other hand it’s earnest and clearly created by people who wanted to make the best out of the little they had. And in my opinion they definitely succeeded on this front. ()

anglais When you want something average about war, you can't go wrong with this series. When you want something great about war that will leave you amazed, you have to look elsewhere. Here, once again, action is minimal, it's more about the human scenes, about relationships, but it works quite well. It's not a miracle, but it's pretty good, and sometimes that's enough. ()
