L'histoire de deux flics lâchés par leur petite amie. Le matricule 223 qui se promet de tomber amoureux de la première femme qui rentrera dans un bar à Chungking House où il noie son chagrin. La matricule 663, qui chaque soir passe au Midnight Express, un fast-food du quartier de Lang Kwai-Fong, acheter à la jolie Faye une "Chef Salad" qu'il destine à sa belle, une hôtesse de l'air. I know that it's not exactly the best when you mainly remember the soundtrack from this film, but the music here really gets you, among other things, by not belonging there, by not fitting in. But that's precisely why it's so disarming. Moreover, they are my favorite songs, even though in an Asian interpretation. It's a strange but beautiful journey.
