A new born girl is abandoned in a coin operated locker in the subway station. The girl is sold off to a woman referred to simply as Mother, the boss of a remorseless loan shark group. Raised by thieves and debt collectors, now 18, Il-young carries out missions given to her by her mother and she is exposed to the world that everyone calls normal . I kind of thought it would just be about a girl raised by a gang of Korean Chinese who finds herself in a bind because she loves the guy she's supposed to kill, but that only happens in one part. What follows is quite a good revenge story, presented in a very human, moderate, and well-executed manner. I'm getting more and more into the Koreans.
