By using free associations the director leads us into a world composed only of shades of gray, white and black. We break away from the figure of the runner and, because of unidentifiable connections, the film runs away as our thoughts often do. The scenes are seemingly deliberately in opposition to a calming piano tune reminding us of dreaming. Attention, this film uses stroboscopic effects. (Anifilm)
