It's one of those modern classic films about how messed up one family is, except they have to explicitly realize it in front of the audience, even though the opening scene already says a lot. It's the best scene in the whole movie, by the way. As a drama, it's a bit boring and clichéd, and there's nothing unexpected in it. Artistry is just a veil for boredom. ()
