Richard Gere delivers a great performance in a movie that didn't quite deserve it. This is a film about a person's loneliness, who is mentally and also drug-infected, specifically with painkillers. It's a somewhat overused topic that even a great actor can't save or elevate if the screenplay doesn't bring something interesting. ()
